What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and submit billing data to all third-party payers through the billing system
- Reconcile data and correct errors for batch submission
- Accurately enter client/patient information and post payments from all third-party payers and self-pay clients
- Handle balance calls from clients and front desk regarding billing inquiries
- Investigate and appeal denied claims while analyzing aging accounts receivable reports

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical biller or in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of billing concepts, medical terminology, behavioral health billing, and electronic medical records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with insurance verification and eligibility updates
- Familiarity with resolving billing issues and disputes by contacting insurance companies
- Previous experience in analyzing and working with aging accounts receivable reports
