About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive global marketing strategy for its eCommerce organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a high-performing global team, driving customer acquisition and retention, and enhancing the brand presence across all digital channels. Key responsibilities for the CMO include creating and implementing the marketing strategy, mentoring the marketing team, and ensuring the company's brand identity is consistent and aligned with business objectives. The role also involves utilizing data to optimize marketing performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing the marketing budget to maximize ROI. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of marketing experience, including at least 10 years' in a senior leadership role within a global eCommerce organization, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, and be adept at data analysis to drive marketing strategy. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The CMO will also be expected to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
