Our Client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. The Construction Superintendent will manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient job site.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Construction Superintendent to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in multifamily, apartments, and units construction, with a particular emphasis on ground-up and wood-frame projects. This role is integral to ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, including but not limited to, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
6. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
7. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
8. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records.
11. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
2. Proven experience in construction project management.
3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
4. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
5. Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
6. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
8. A team player with leadership abilities.
9. BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
10. PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
