About the Role: As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for supporting the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
  • Representing yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
  • Identify strengths and commercial opportunities in your department and work with the Department Manager to act on them.
  • Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team actively promotes and sells products to customers.
  • Follow up that your team actively promotes our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges.
  • Manage admin routines for both people and operations in a correct way.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
  • Stay up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
  • Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
Team & Development
  • Retain and share knowledge with the Store team.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team; plan and work as a team.
  • Give and receive feedback to support each others development.
  • Maintain regular communication to inform, motivate and inspire daily/weekly meetings.
  • Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
  • Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockroom areas.
  • Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation with proper garment care.
  • Maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation to Area team.
  • Ensure the full garment cycle from delivery to presentation and fitting room routines align with standards and internal routines, using all tools and technology provided.
  • Maintain in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
  • Maintain price signs in-store and on the sales floor according to global and local strategies to ensure consistent price perception.
  • Update and maintain BOH areas with key information, health & safety, tidiness, etc.
  • Responsible for opening & closing of the store daily.

Compensation: expected base salary range is $18.29 - $21.58 hourly
