Description

As a Financial Analyst , you'll have an integral role in financial data analysis , developing forecasts , and providing actionable insights to guide strategic and operational decisions . You will work closely with cross-functional teams in finance, product, and engineering to optimise performance , improve profitability , and ensure financial integrity across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Analyse financial statements , budgets , and forecasts to appraise company performance and pinpoint ways to optimise costs and increase revenues .
• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain financial models , reports , and dashboards using advanced Excel functions and visualisation tools such as Power BI . Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the planning process through preparation of budgets , projections , and variance analyses to accurately track finances and support decision-making .
• Performance Indication: Monitor and report on key financial KPIs , operational efficiency , and profitability metrics that support executive decisions .
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with finance , product , and engineering teams to evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives and develop business cases .
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes , improving data accuracy , and implementing best practices in financial reporting and analysis .
• Strategic Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership on strategic planning , investments , and growth initiatives .

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis , corporate finance , or a related analytical role .
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (including advanced functions ); experience with Power BI , PowerPoint , MS Visio , SAP , and Jira .
• Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate highly complex data .
• Data Tools: Knowledge of SQL or other querying languages is a plus.
• Business Acumen: Utilize KPIs , budgets , and performance metrics to drive financial and operational improvements .
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills ; able to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences .
• Work Style: Must be able to work in a fast-paced , dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines .
