Your Role: As an Equity Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in guiding portfolio outperformance through timely and impactful research on stock holdings and industry trends. You will dive deep into specific industries, developing expertise that contributes to the firm’s portfolio strategies. You will collaborate with like-minded peers who are equally passionate about markets, receiving comprehensive training that sharpens both your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills in a diverse and supportive environment. Reporting to the Securities Research Manager, your insights will deliver timely research and create effective portfolio recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Acquire an in-depth understanding of our investment philosophy, process, and portfolio themes. Gain expertise in your assigned sector, analyzing how market events influence potential returns and developing innovative portfolio themes. Provide the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) with regular performance analysis and actionable insights on outperforming stocks and industries. Engage in Investment Roundtables, Fisher Client Forums, and other discussions, offering valuable insights to our Private Client Group and institutional clients. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in equity research. Background in a buy-side or sell-side firm with relevant qualitative equity research experience. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences including executive stakeholders. Ability to convey information in a relevant, concise manner to enhance portfolio decision-making. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and adaptability in learning and applying new concepts. Experience in crafting equity research reports that leverage both data and qualitative analysis. Proficient in using Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, or similar tools to derive insights related to equity performance. Why Choose Fisher Investments?
