PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acquired a State of Ohio License to practice mental health counseling or Counselor Trainee status. Staff counselors are responsible for providing assessment, treatment planning, and clinical counseling to clients of Guiding Grace Counseling, LLC, in accordance with their abilities and experience level and within the limits of the state of Ohio regulations for their profession. Specific duties include:

* Conducting comprehensive assessments and Diagnosis with use of DSM-V (TM).
* Developing a comprehensive treatment plan unique to the needs of each client, which is directly related to the assessment and treatment goals.
* Counseling adults, couples, families, and/or children using established theories and professional treatments for a variety of mental health and relational issues.
* Integrating spirituality and biblical concepts in counseling according to the clients desires.
* Receiving ongoing interaction and support of your work by the agency Clinical team.
* Attending all mandatory staff meetings, trainings, and scheduled agency functions.
* Compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid regulations, Commercial Insurance requirements and Guiding Grace Counseling, LLC policies and procedures.
* Maintaining client records and required agency documentation in a timely and efficient manner, consistent with Guiding Grace Counseling, LLC policies and procedures.
* Implementing crisis intervention when necessary.
