Full Stack Engineer (AI-Native Compliance)

Location: New York, NY

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Arrangement: On-site 5 days a week

Our client is a rapidly growing AI startup building the next-generation compliance platform. Launched in April 2025, they have already crossed $1.2 million ARR with a small team by automating complex security and compliance processes (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR) using AI agents—turning months-long audits into days.

They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is hungry, highly technical, and ready to own features from concept to production . As an early engineer, you will work directly with the founders, shape core product decisions, and build the infrastructure necessary to scale the company toward nine figures.

• Own End-to-End Features: Design, build, and deploy complete solutions across the backend, frontend, and infrastructure—you ship the full feature.
• Build AI-Powered Workflows: Implement core AI infrastructure, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and LLM orchestration into production systems.
• Ship Fast with High Standards: Maintain a high bar for code quality and user experience while iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies before they are formally assigned.
• Set Technical Standards: Mentor and set the technical direction and best practices for the engineering team as the company scales.

Requirements

• 1-6 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, preferably at startups.
• Must be highly technical, driven, and ready to take on significant ownership.

Benefits

• Salary: $150K - $180K
• Equity: 0.25% - 0.75%
• Visa Sponsorship: Not available.
