Overview:

We are seeking a reliable General Laborer to assist with daily grain container inspections and sampling. In this role, you will enter shipping containers, close the doors, and verify that no light is entering through any noticeable holes or gaps. Containers that pass inspection will be filled with grain. You will complete approximately 10–15 inspections per day.

Once grain is loaded, you will collect a small sample from each container and accurately record the container number and contents. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a dusty, dirty environment.

Skills and Experience:

Required Skills:

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and inspection procedures

• Basic recordkeeping and documentation skills

• Strong observational skills for detecting small gaps or issues

• Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods

• Time-management skills to complete 10–15 inspections per day

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong work ethic and consistent attendance

Ideal Candidate:

• No significant seasonal allergies or respiratory sensitivities

• Comfortable working in dark, confined areas

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet daily quotas

• Ability to work in physically demanding and dusty conditions

Working Conditions:

• Very dusty, dirty environment

• Frequent work in dark, enclosed spaces

• Physical labor, including bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
