As the Pharmacy Technician – Home Delivery , you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Location: 4300 44thAve. Moline, IL 61265

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prescription requests
  • Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements
  • Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
  • Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
  • Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls
  • Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
  • May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details
  • Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
  • Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
  • Acts as a technical resource to others in own function
  • Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
  • Solves moderately complex problems on own
  • Works with team to solve complex problems
  • Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction
  • Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned
  • Extensive work experience within own function
  • Work is frequently completed without established procedures
  • Works independently
  • May coordinate other activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • 1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy
  • Ability to work in office at 4300 44th Ave. Moline, IL 61265, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30am-6pm
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Call-center or telephonic work

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
