Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator candidate for a company based in Bremen, AL. You will be responsible for safely operating sewing machines, and work with other fabricators to complete projects.

Pay Rate
$17

Schedule and Hours
Monday Through Thursday 5am-2:30pm

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Must know how to operate an industrial sewing machine. (needle changes, thread changes, bobbin changes, tension, machine threading)
• Measure and cut new covering materials, using patterns and measuring cutting instruments, following sketches and design specifications.
• Work with other fabricators and seamstresses to complete projects together.
• Reading work orders, product maps and following directions.
• Maintain records of time required to perform each task.
• Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of an interval sewing test
• 6 months’ experience minimum in various types of sewing machine operations
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Competency in basic math skills (adding and subtraction)
• Ability to read, understand, communicate, and interpret written and verbal instructions, policies and practices.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for 8-10 hours.
