Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year
A bit about us: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Commercial Superintendent for a permanent position in our rapidly growing construction company. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in construction, who is passionate about quality control, safety compliance, and project management. The Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our clients' satisfaction.

Job Details Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project construction to ensure completion within design specifications, on time, and within budget constraints.
- Supervise site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, construction personnel, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate project execution.
- Implement and maintain strict safety standards on the construction site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections, identifying and rectifying any issues promptly.
- Manage construction materials, ensuring efficient use and minimal waste.
- Provide strong leadership to the construction team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors.
- Handle customer service inquiries and issues, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Solve any construction-related problems that arise, utilizing strong problem-solving skills.
- Perform subdivision, whitebox, and buildout tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in blueprint reading, quality control, safety compliance, and site supervision.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional time management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in materials and vendor management.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of subdivision, whitebox, and buildout processes.
- Project management certification is preferred but not essential.
