Beacon Hill Legal is working with a well-established and respected law firm located in downtown St. Louis. We are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their collaborative litigation support team. In this role, you'll work closely with a team of assistants and attorneys to provide high-level administrative support in a fast-paced legal environment.
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives on organization and teamwork. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys.
Transcribe, draft, and edit legal documents with precision and efficiency.
Manage case files, schedule appointments, and coordinate court filings.
Utilize document management systems and Microsoft Office applications daily.
Track and input attorney time entries accurately.
Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication and confidentiality.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of legal secretarial or administrative support experience , preferably in a litigation setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook , and document management systems.
Typing speed of 70+ WPM with strong transcription and proofreading skills.
Excellent grammar, organizational, and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. , Monday through Friday.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
