Base pay range $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards: Manage all technical aspects in the graphics area, including customer relationships, art files, design implementation, and production for current and new jobs. Oversee graphic projects for major local customers and smaller clients as time permits, ensuring integrity of customer and press approvals. Coordinate with customers and regional managers regarding designs, graphics, and color issues, promoting active involvement and minimizing costs. Maintain quality control and product improvement through technical expertise, managing cylinders, designs, and tooling to meet production needs efficiently. Maximize productivity by utilizing advanced technologies, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring color matching and design flow compliance. Document all graphic functions, maintain confidentiality, and track cylinder and tooling lifecycle to ensure customer confidence. Control costs by managing equipment, cylinders, tooling, and related invoices effectively. Stay updated on industry trends, participate in educational programs, and incorporate new knowledge into department procedures. Support OHSE and quality policies and assist team members as needed. Key Requirements: Technical degree in Graphic Design or related field. At least 5 years of experience in Gravure and/or Offset pre-press printing. Proficiency in PC and Macintosh G3, including Microsoft Office, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting, standing, reaching, and other physical activities; ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
