A fast-growing e‑commerce brand is looking for a mid-level Motion Designer to join its digital content and creative marketing team. This role centers on producing motion graphics for online retail and marketing, while also handling light video editing, typography, localization (titles/captions/translations), asset organization, and final file delivery. You will work across multiple brands, product categories, and retail platforms, using a variety of visual styles and formats. The position is ideal for someone who loves visual storytelling in a commercial context, is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional creative and marketing partners. This role reports directly to the Divisional Marketing Manager. Key Responsibilities Design and animate motion graphics content that supports brand storytelling, product launches, paid and organic social media, UX experiences, website assets, and broader marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the divisional marketing lead to ensure all creative deliverables are accurately scoped, executed, reviewed, and delivered on schedule. Own the post‑production process for assigned projects, including assembling rough cuts, refining edits, color correction, simple compositing, and preparing final exports. Partner closely with other members of the marketing and creative teams, contributing constructively throughout concepting, production, and delivery. Identify opportunities to elevate visual quality, streamline workflows, and propose new approaches for motion and video content. Organize, label, and archive project files and assets according to established standards to ensure easy retrieval and reuse. Handle multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and managing your own timelines to deliver work on time and within resource constraints. Remain flexible and comfortable with shifting priorities, adjusting schedules and direction as business needs evolve. Operate effectively in a fast‑paced production environment, managing tight turnarounds while maintaining strong communication and workflow discipline. Support a video content producer on a variety of video initiatives, from pre‑production prep to post‑production finishing, as needed. Generate platform‑specific versions from master edits for different social channels (e.g., aspect ratios, durations, and formats tailored to each platform). Required Skills & Background Education in Motion Design, Media Arts, Advertising/Marketing, or a related creative discipline, or equivalent hands‑on professional experience in motion graphics. Demonstrated ability to color grade video so that product appearance is accurate and consistent across shots and deliverables. Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with commonly used motion design tools and workflows. Working knowledge of video and digital production pipelines, along with an awareness of evolving formats, standards, and best practices in motion design. Hands‑on experience with basic audio and sound editing, including cleaning up dialogue, balancing levels, and integrating music and sound effects. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to interpret creative direction, incorporate feedback, and deliver polished assets that align with brand and project goals. Highly organized and self‑driven, with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability for meeting deadlines and quality standards.
