Drive Innovation as a Network Engineer at PDS Tech Commercial

Shape the future of connectivity and security. At PDS Tech Commercial , we’re seeking an experienced Network Engineer to configure, maintain, and support network infrastructures that power operational excellence and competitive advantage.

Location: Brandenburg, KY - work is ONSITE so candidates MUST be local for consideration

Pay: 37.01 - 44.82 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule : M-F 8AM-5PM
Contract Length: 6 months to start, likely to extend or convert to DIRECT hire

About the Role
As a Network Engineer , you’ll manage network design, installation, and maintenance for the Brandenburg facility while collaborating with enterprise teams. Your expertise ensures secure, efficient, and reliable connectivity across the organization.

Team is looking for:

• LAN experience

• Cisco Catalyst experience

• DNA Center experience

• Low voltage cabling (fiber and copper) experience

• Someone with strong team and service oriented outlook

What You’ll Do

• Configure, maintain, monitor, and support network infrastructure equipment.

• Coordinate with local and enterprise teams on network design architectures.

• Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of local infrastructure equipment.

• Drive consistency with networking standards across the enterprise.

• Provide technical customer service support for local teammate requests and projects.

• Identify, establish, and improve department standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
Required:

• 3+ years of experience configuring and managing network infrastructure equipment.

• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, VLANs, DHCP/DNS protocols.

• Experience with LAN design, cabling, installation, configuration, and management.

• Ability to travel and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Preferred:

• Net+, CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, or other industry-recognized certifications.

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9k switching/wireless.

• Knowledge of singlemode/multimode fiber installation.

• Spanning Tree configuration/administration.

• IP Routing and various routing protocols.

• Network monitoring and configuration backups.

Pay Details: 37.01 to 44.82 per hour
