Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring 1:1 school nurses to work directly with a student in a school located in Conyers, Georgia.

Qualifications:

• Georgia RN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting

1:1 School Classroom Nurse Contract Details:

• $39.80 - $42.85 per hour
• 36-week contracts
• This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student's medical diagnosis and care plan
• Contract is for the current school year
• The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
• Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
• RN will be matched to student based on the nurse's medical acuity experience
• 1:1 school nurse position may include bus runs, field trips, care for students with certain health diagnoses/requirements such as but not limited to behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes
