Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team. As an Office Assistant, you will be part of the Administrative team supporting internal staff and leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Range: $18.00-20.00/hr.
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, MondayFriday
Provide general administrative assistance to internal staff and leadership, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. Answer and direct incoming phone calls and monitor shared email inboxes with professionalism and accuracy. Draft, format, and proofread internal documents, correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel reports. Support scheduling needs, including managing internal calendars, coordinating meetings, and reserving conference rooms. Order, track, and maintain inventory of office supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate and cost-effective.
Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a business office or corporate environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate knowledge required). Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
