Part Time Overnight Security Officers

 

Location(s): Bedford, MA | Chelmsford, MA | Lexington, MA

Pay Rate(s): $20-$21 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time hours on 3rd shift overnight

Securitas USA is currently seeking multiple reliable and professional Part-Time Overnight Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of property, personnel, and assets during overnight hours. This role requires vigilance, integrity, and the ability to remain alert and proactive during non-peak hours.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises via foot patrols, surveillance systems, and access control points

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies

• Write detailed incident and activity reports at the end of each shift

• Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are properly secured

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized activity

• Communicate effectively with other officers, management, and emergency responders

• Enforce site-specific rules, procedures, and policies

• Conduct safety checks and report any hazards or maintenance issues

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Physically able to stand and patrol for extended periods
