Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Foreman 1 to design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required to maintain workflow. Responsibilities include performing all necessary documentation such as delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s, and scaffold inspection checklists. The Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development and is required to work with tools from time to time. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or approved equivalent experience, some trade school preferred but not required, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work safely at considerable heights. Bilingual skills are a plus. The candidate must be able to supervise a crew or up to three Lead Carpenters who each run a small crew, have good knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding, and understand various types of scaffolding materials to ensure load limits are not exceeded. The role involves physical demands such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
