Job Description SCAN COORDINATOR Main responsibilities: - Ensure accurate pricing, itemization, tagging, signing, and documentation of UPC/PLU codes for all store merchandise.
- Operate computer systems and maintain computerized records.
- Hang signs and tags for advertised specials and price changes.
- Conduct scan audits and replace missing or damaged tags.
- Manage in-store markdown links and verify all tags and signs.
- Monitor pricing integrity and maintain price accuracy guarantee signage.
- Maintain tag subscription and batches (e.g., Just 4 You).
- Train employees on store policies, sales, and record-keeping procedures.
- Implement emergency procedures for equipment and software malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with retail labeling laws, federal/state regulations, and company policies.
