Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed to support an Autism program within a P-8 classroom in Aurora, CO. This contract position runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. The role focuses on providing behavioral support to approximately 12 students in an on-site setting within a K-8 school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans within an Autism program
• Collaborate with special education staff to support student learning and behavior management
• Monitor and document student progress regularly
• Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support individualized student needs
• Provide consultation and training as needed to classroom staff

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active BCBA license is required
• Experience working directly in a classroom environment, preferably within special education or Autism support
• Ability to work full-time on-site; no virtual or hybrid positions available
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team

Location:

• Aurora, CO (Denver area east side of the city)
• Specific school assignment: a P-8 school supporting an Autism program
