Job Summary Our client is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team. This position is located in Riverwoods, Illinois. Duties Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, such as Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retro, and collect and provide relevant data and metrics. Drive team discussion and collaboration, coaching agile principles and the continuous improvement mindset, and help manage impediment removal by working closely with other teams and impacted stakeholders. Attend Scrum of Scrums meetings as needed to synchronize across teams and resolve blockers. Facilitate Sprint release planning with Product Manager, Product Owner and stakeholders to determine features, their sequence and expected timeline. Assist Product Manager and Product Owner with ongoing backlog refinement. Ensure sprint releases stay on track and update sprint activities in agile planning and execution tracking tools. Assist with status reporting, velocity metrics, sprint accomplishments, and socializing current risks and issues. Partner with others in the Agile community to drive technology-focused teams towards achieving Agile principles. Coach the team to own and continually improve their process and practices. Drive teams to improve agility practices and become more self-organizing. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
