As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Unarmed Patrol in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Remain alert to surroundings and help to deter potential security-related incidents through visible presence and patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
