Description Reference #: SS0725 Spirent is looking for an experienced Sr. Technology Consultant inTelecommunications and Networkingto help support Tier 1 Service Provider segment in the area of Test and Measurement. This individual will be an integral member of Spirent's regional sales team and work closely with many of Spirent's strategic Customers and Industry experts. You will specialize in Post-Sales activities, acting as the technical subject matter expert on Spirent's products and solutions, understanding customer requirements, determining the best solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition of those solutions to target customers. Your primary focus will be to drive technical end-to-end solutions into our clients as part of an integrated sales team. Post-sales activities include solution development, technical presentations, design documentation creation, assisting with technical questions or concerns during the post-sales process. You will be frequently participating in the project specification process, acting as liaison between Spirent's sales/business development and engineering groups, and leading key customer development projects in addition to direct customer engagement in support of the sales team's objectives. Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; must have 8 years of experience in job offered or related position; must have 8 years of experience with the following: Microsoft Office Suite of tools; application-level protocol knowledge ( FTP, DNS, TELNET, TCP/IP, Streaming Media); 3G/4G/5G Mobile Core Networking and troubleshooting; and Networking, network security, telecommunications, and applications. Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, the company will accept a master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 6 years of experience in job offered or related position; must have 6 years of experience with the following: Microsoft Office Suite of tools; Application-level protocol knowledge ( FTP, DNS, TELNET, TCP/IP, Streaming Media); 3G/4G/5G Mobile Core Networking and troubleshooting; and Networking, network security, telecommunications, and applications. Remote work permitted. Annualized Salary Wage Range: at least $148,802 to $175,897 year Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
