This Opportunity WSP is initiating a search for a full-time Senior UI/UX Web Designer , located nearany WSP US office. As part of the team, you will collaborate with project managers, front-end application developers and software engineers by providing accessible-compliant and responsive user interface/user experience design nationally as part of our Visualization and Data Intelligence practice,a growing national business line focused on advancing and enhancing the quality of WSP client deliverables. Our successful candidate must be a detailed-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and is a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will not only have the knowledge and experience to design UI/UX concepts for a variety of online web applications but will be also able to consult on applications’ overall user journey and experience, ensuring the product is intuitive and enjoyable to use. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and finding solutions to creatively advance online applications for WSP clients. The successful candidate will be expected to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Your Impact Lead UI/UX design strategy and implementation on a variety of online and mobile applications. Support, enhance and maintain design of legacy systems. Drive creation of polished, professional, high-quality UI/UX design that meet industry standards for responsive design and accessibility compliance. Mentor team members and collaborate in application development to address user experience. Work with a variety of technical staff and project teams to determine the best approach for specific budgets, projects and schedules. Actively pursue research to remain current with industry trends and best practices. Adhere to project schedules and budgets and meet tight deadlines. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technical arts, computer science or a related field 5-12+ years custom UI/UX design Proficiency in user-centered design, journey mapping, user flows and usability testing Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms High proficiency in Figma, wireframing and prototyping High proficiency in Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) High-proficiency in responsive and mobile-first design Proficiency in ADA Section 508 website requirements Ability to communicate effectively and congenially with project teams, Project Managers, Task Leaders, and Senior Management in a wide variety of fields Exceptional attention to detail Highly proficient at self-management; ability to be nimble in the face of shifting project schedules and delivering high-quality output in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Experience providing rigorous UI/UX analysis of applications Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of CSS, Git, HTML5, JavaScript, React, Tailwind, TypeScript, UI Development, and Vue a plus. Compensation : Expected Salary: $110,000-$125,000 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
