CoWorx is seeking a Spray Booth Operator with machine shop experience to join our production team in the Biddeford, ME area!
The ideal candidate will have experience in machining processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Pay: $24–$27/hr, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture bonded/re-bonded rotary targets using RTM or RTB machining processes.
• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues during the bonding process.
• Learn and apply the latest technology and procedures.
• Understand and follow all safety requirements and emergency procedures.
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely and complete all required hazardous waste training.
• Wear a full-face respirator when required (must be able to be clean to semi clean-shaven for fit testing).

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of relevant machine shop experience.
• Proficient with power tools, measuring instruments, and unit conversions (standard ? metric).
• Experience reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.
• Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow safety and manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented and attentive to quality.
