Stamford, Connecticut Corporate Security Officers - Part/Full-Time Officers Join to apply for the Stamford, Connecticut Corporate Security Officers - Part/Full-Time Officers role at Alliance Building Services. Responsibilities Maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security. Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance. Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed. Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the values of our organization. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year Security Officer experience – preferably in an exterior patrol Valid CT Security Guard License that will not expire for at least 3 months Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively Demonstrate high level customer service skills, including the ability to professionally handle difficult situations Ability to stand and patrol outside, no matter the weather or temperature Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects when required Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training in security or guest services will be an advantage Certification Requirements Connecticut Security Guard License CT Security Guard License Additional Information / Benefits Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Paid Sick Days The Following Screenings Are Required Employment Verification Travel is required.
