Job Title: Tax Preparer

Location: NE Portland

Hours: 8am - 5pm, onsite

Compensation: $25-28 per hour

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and/or businesses, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. below are more details.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.

• Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.

• Interview clients to gather information on income, deductions, and other relevant data.

• Identify potential tax credits and liabilities and ensure accurate and complete returns.

To be a fit, you must have:

• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role.

• Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations.

• Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, Drake, ProSeries).

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
