Job Description

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team, providing critical care to a diverse patient population. The unit has a total of 25 beds with a standard patient ratio of 4:1, which may increase during peak periods. The department is equipped with GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and Zoll travel monitors, ensuring that our staff has access to advanced technology for optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in alignment with department protocols.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.


• Utilize advanced emergency department competencies to manage acute patient conditions.


• Document patient interactions using the MediTech Expanse system.


• Engage with patients and families to foster a supportive care environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.


• ED competencies are essential for this role.


• Effective communication skills and ability to make personal connections with patients are required.
