Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active unrestricted RN license.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule with options for 3x12s, 4x12s, or 2x12s
• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes medical and telemetry patients
• Uses ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate systems
• Qualivis – Lotus is used for submitting hours worked
• Responsibilities include providing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients and performing specialized monitoring
• Must pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprinting prior to the start date
• Completion of required pre-start and annual modules is monitored and recorded
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year following their previous end date
• PAPRs are not an alternative for caregivers with facial hair except with a valid agency medical or religious exemption
• Facility accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Travelers may only be submitted for one job at a time within the health system

Requirements

• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
• At least one recent supervisory reference in the specialty is required for consideration
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
