Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a permanent OH or compact license and recent hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Use of Qualivis – Lotus for submitting worked hours
• May be required to float based on clinical experience
• Responsibilities include delivering care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments, with two attempts allowed to pass
• Onsite badge pickup and fingerprinting required prior to start date
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• Past permanent or per diem candidates must wait at least 1 year from previous Cleveland Clinic hospital employment to return

Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start required
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Must provide one supervisory reference in the specialty for consideration
• No open background check cases or license disciplinary actions accepted
