Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - Neuro Med/Surg Acute

Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs/week,  with weekend and holiday rotation

Length: 18 Weeks

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekend both shifts.

Holiday Requirement: Every other

Requirements: 

  • IL license
  • 1 year of experience
  • Must have level 1 trauma experience
  • Must have previous travel experience
  • Must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit
  • AHA BLS
  • NIHSS

Other Details:

  • Floating Requirements: Float in rotation with rest of staff. General unit traveler floats to general unit floor - takes full team. If floated outside of general unit, in case of urgent need, would only do skills competent to do & be assigned with a nurse trained for that particular unit.
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: No scrub color requirement, tattoos covered while on duty, no piercings besides ears.
  • Charting System: EPIC
