Job Description

As an Investment Professional in the U.S. Private Bank, you will provide essential daily support to Investors in managing client relationships. Additionally, you will coordinate with a team of talented colleagues and other support groups, while maintaining awareness of and sensitivity to the confidential nature of Private Banking clients.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Consult on and execute brokerage trades, including advising clients on trade execution, placing trades, reviewing brokerage trades (comparing paper blotter to trade blotter daily), submitting cancel/corrects, and making account updates.
  2. Create mandates for discretionary accounts.
  3. Monitor exceptions and work with Client Advisors to conduct 'what-if' scenario-based analysis. Collaborate with the Team Leader to monitor risk metrics across the team.
  4. Work with the Team Leader to monitor Client Advisor loadings.
  5. Submit and monitor fee schedules and billing.
  6. Manage Alternatives documents, including submission, monitoring, and working with clients to complete or correct them.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  1. Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates will be considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
  2. Bachelors Degree required.
  3. At least one year of industry-related experience.
  4. Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
  5. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  1. Familiarity with JP Morgan Private Bank systems such as Workstation, Connect, DDR/KYC, or ability to learn proprietary software.
  2. Experience and interest in financial markets and concepts.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
