The Crime Analyst II (CA II) position is assigned to the Los Angeles Regional Criminal Information Clearinghouse Analytical Unit. The CA II is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating criminal intelligence information from a variety of sources, pertaining to targeted criminal suspects involved in narcotics to more case specific investigations involving UCR Part I crimes (murder, rape, arson, robbery, etc.). The CA II may be assigned to provide analytical support and assistance to the Intelligence & Deconfliction Watch Center, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Southern California Drug Task Force, or the Special Operations Support Unit. May act as a Lead Crime Analyst in the Analytical Unit.
