Job Description

Simkhai is seeking a creative, analytical, and results-driven Ecommerce Marketing Manager to join our Digital team and play a pivotal role in scaling SIMKHAI.com. This individual will own CRM, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey optimization across all digital touchpoints — from acquisition to retention. They will be instrumental in shaping our growth strategy by driving revenue, engagement, and loyalty through best-in-class marketing campaigns that reflect the brand’s voice and aesthetic. They will also serve as the steward of the brand’s voice, reviewing and refining all marketing copy to ensure every touchpoint reflects SIMKHAI’s distinct tone and resonates with our audience.

Along with overseeing our paid marketing agency this role will lead the planning and execution of CRM initiatives, including email and SMS, and ensure our marketing messaging is clear, compelling, consistent and capturing the right tone for throughout the customer lifecycle. You will use data to inform decision-making, track relevant KPIs, and continually iterate on campaigns to improve conversion, retention, and customer value.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve CRM strategy across email and SMS channels, ensuring all customer-facing communications align with the brand voice and drive engagement across the funnel.
  • Partner closely with copywriter to develop, edit, and refine copy that delivers a consistent and compelling experience from prospect to loyal customer.
  • Analyze lifecycle KPIs including open rate, CTR, CVR, unsubscribe rate, and LTV to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and influence the marketing roadmap.
  • Build and manage automated, triggered, and personalized campaigns designed to increase customer acquisition, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and retention.
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies that maximize engagement and ROI, leveraging behavior, purchase history, and demographics.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation efforts across email, SMS, and site to drive performance improvements and optimize the user journey.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, E-commerce, and Product to ensure all customer touchpoints are cohesive, impactful, and conversion-focused.
  • Work with digital media agencies to oversee paid acquisition across SEM, paid social, and display; optimize performance against CPA, ROAS, and CAC targets.
  • Own the digital marketing budget, allocating spend based on data and performance insights.
  • Stay ahead of DTC trends and tools in CRM, growth marketing, and lifecycle management.
  • Responsible for exploring and implementing the use of AI strategies to reduce workload and drive creativity and differentiated approach to digital marketing
  • Ensure all marketing copy — across email, SMS, paid ads, and the website — is clear, persuasive, and consistent with the SIMKHAI brand voice and tone.
  • Review, edit, and approve copy developed by the internal team and agency partners, providing feedback and direction to maintain a high standard of quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Serve as a brand voice guardian, collaborating with the copywriter and creative team to refine messaging strategies that resonate with target customers
  • Responsible for exploring and implementing the use of AI strategies to reduce workload and drive creativity and differentiated approach to digital marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum 5+ years of experience in DTC e-commerce with a strong focus on CRM, paid marketing and funnel optimization.
  • Must have demonstrated deep knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Klaviyo and Attentive), and experience building and optimizing automated flows and campaign calendars.
  • Must have demonstrated strong grasp of lifecycle marketing KPIs and how to influence them to drive performance.
  • Must be a skilled copy editor with a clear understanding of how to apply brand voice across marketing touchpoints.
  • Must have demonstrated hands-on experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, and digital ad platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads).
  • Must have demonstrated ability to synthesize data and make strategic decisions based on customer behavior and ROI metrics.
  • Must have proven experience as a copy editor or content reviewer, with a strong understanding of applying brand voice and storytelling across multiple digital channels.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and ability to uphold brand standards in all written communications
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Must have undergraduate degree from accredited university
