*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, knowledge of dental terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

*Duties*

* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
* Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
* Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards and HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, and Eaglesoft for patient documentation, medical records, and medical coding.
* Conduct vital signs assessments and assist with medical documentation as needed.
* Operate 3D scanners and other dental imaging equipment as required.
* Manage patient appointments, including scheduling.
* Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality care in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties.

*Experience*

* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices is essential.
* Experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $23.12 - $29.84 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
