Our client is an innovative AI startup with $6.88 million in funding, dedicated to helping people land their dream jobs with tools like AI Interview Copilot and Mock Interviews. They are seeking a Founding Fullstack Engineer to build their next generation of consumer and business-facing products. This is a high-autonomy role for a strong builder who is comfortable writing scalable business logic on the backend and driving elegant frontend solutions, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI, LLMs, and agent systems .

This role demands a high degree of independent technical decision-making and ownership across the entire product lifecycle.

• Write scalable business logic in their cloud-native backend services.
• Drive and implement frontend solutions for both consumer and B2B products.
• Contribute to and lead the product development process from ideation and rapid prototyping to architecting and scaling solutions.
• Apply and adapt new AI knowledge/tech stack rapidly , with a focus on LLMs and agent systems.
• Drive technical initiatives based on business context, including research and technical design for long-term business OKRs.
• Maintain technical quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and handling on-call duties.
• Perform day-to-day DevOps on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and Azure knowledge is optional).
• Drive projects without Tech Lead/CTO's guidance with independent technical decisions.

Requirements

• 1-6 years of industry experience as a fullstack software engineer working on complex consumer or B2B products.
• Proven track record of building with AI , ideally LLMs or agent systems, and shipping these products to production.
• Experience writing business logic in cloud-native backend services at scale.
• Bonus points: Hackathon winner, open-source contributor, or a strong GitHub commit history (1000+ commits/year).

Benefits

• Salary: $200K - $400K
• Equity: 0.5% - 3% (Strong Founding Equity)
• Visa Sponsorship: Available for most visa types.
• Work Policy: In-person in San Francisco or India, Bangalore
