Position Summary

Hoge Fenton is hiring a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support two shareholders in our Intellectual Property litigation group. This role requires 7+ years of litigation experience, especially in Federal Courts, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to supporting attorneys and managing deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and format litigation documents, including TOCs and TOAs
• Manage federal and state court filings and e-filings
• Maintain attorney calendars and track all case deadlines
• Coordinate hearings, depositions, travel, and court reporters
• Manage incoming mail, legal documents, and matter files in ProLaw/NetDocs
• Organize trial binders and exhibits; support hearing/trial logistics
• Assist with billing, expenses, and administrative support
• Communicate with clients and external parties professionally

Qualifications:

• 7+ years litigation admin experience, with strong Federal Court background
• Familiar with IP or class action litigation preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ProLaw, and NetDocs
• Strong knowledge of legal formatting, calendaring, and e-filing
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Legal Secretary Certificate (preferred, not required)

Pay range

The hourly base salary range for this position is $51.25 to $55.75 per hour with a7.5-hour workday. This salary range represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, and skill set.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with occasional overtime required. After a successful onboarding period, candidates may request a one-day-a-week remote work schedule.
