Beacon Hill Legal seeks a Litigation Legal Secretary for a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a notable labor and employment law firm based in Washington, DC!
This position will adhere to a fully onsite model.
Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of litigation support experience on the DEFENSE side. Plaintiff experience will not be considered.
The position supports attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, arbitrations, and trials-handling tasks such as bates numbering, redactions, and e-filing with both state and federal courts. Additional responsibilities include processing monthly expense reports, managing time entries, proofreading legal documents, and maintaining organized physical and electronic files. The role also involves coordinating meetings such as depositions and mediations, conducting conflict checks, and overseeing the client intake process.
