The person in this role is integral to the overall success of the Paper Mill as well as the Somerset Mill and is a key member of the management team.
Job Specifications/Requirements: - Leadership responsibilities for three Paper Machine departments, Coating & Additives and Finishing & Shipping
- Areas of accountability include safety, quality, production, and cost
- Develop technical, business, and leadership capabilities of the paper mill organization
- Member of the Somerset Mill's Leadership Team (MLT)
Preferred: - Experience in pulp mill operations
- Experience in working with printers and/or with the final customer
Entry Requirements: - Education - Engineering degree preferred
- Extensive expertise in coated papermaking operations
- Demonstrated track record in exceeding performance standards with continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, production, and total product cost
- Demonstrated ability in the area of communications and team building
- Demonstrated ability developing employee capability
