Job Description

Role: Python AWS Developer
Location: Wilmington, DE (5 Days onsite)
Contract Role
A Python AWS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Python . The role focuses on building scalable backend systems, automating cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliability and performance of cloud-hosted applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and serverless applications using Python (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django, boto3).
Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Build and manage serverless and microservices architectures .
Automate deployments and infrastructure using DevOps tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, CodeBuild, CodePipeline).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and cloud infrastructure.
Ensure cloud security best practices, including IAM roles, encryption, and network configuration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, product) to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud architecture.
Familiarity with REST APIs , serverless frameworks , and microservices.
Knowledge of boto3 (AWS SDK for Python).
Experience with Docker , CI/CD , and infrastructure as code.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with data pipelines (Glue, Kinesis, Athena).
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Understanding of networking (VPC, subnets, load balancers).
