Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of cardiovascular and vascular experience for a day shift assignment in Iowa.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital setting as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Focus on cardiac and vascular sonography procedures
• Day shifts Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• Possible floating within the same discipline across local campuses
• Use of Epic EMR system
• On-call requirements to be determined
• Responsibilities include providing cardiac and vascular sonography as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Must be willing to float to other campuses within the same discipline as needed
• RTO requests are limited to one day off between specified peak holiday dates
• Travelers will be required to work two of three major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Must have a taxable address located at least 50 miles from the facility

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular sonography experience, including vascular studies
• At least one completed travel contract is required
• Active Iowa state license and all certifications must be current at time of consideration
• Certification required: ARDMS, BCLS, CCI-RCIS, or RDCS
• Demonstrated experience working with Epic EMR is required or preferred
• License required if applicable
