Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to join our committed team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity, fast-paced emergency settings with a strong focus on patient care. You will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals in a busy Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care and treatment to patients in accordance with established protocols.


• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in the stabilization of patients.


• Administer medications, perform procedures such as RSI, and oversee patient care protocols including Sepsis interventions and Stroke protocol with tPA administration.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and effective patient transfers in compliance with EMTALA regulations.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience.


• Completion of 2-3 travel assignments.


• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC.


• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH Stroke Scale.
