We are seeking a friendly and organized Fitness Desk Associate to greet members, handle check-ins, and assist with inquiries. This role involves managing memberships, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Welcomes and engages with all TPC members as they enter the fitness center. Assist members with checking in, registering for events and programs, purchasing merchandise, and other needs. Arrives early to inspect workout equipment for safety and/or issues. Picking up, cleaning, and organizing gym equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness. Enforces youth member procedures and all gym rules and policies for all members. Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures Keeps the Wellness Director informed of member issues, comments and concerns Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Experience, Competencies and Education Be 16 years of age or older. (Work permit required for anyone under the age of 18.) Monitor and enforce all fitness center rules, including youth member policies Ensure the fitness center and equipment remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day Uphold and model club policies, dress code, and customer service expectations All other duties as assigned Ability to work independently. Must be punctual, reliable and conscientious. Basic computer skills, MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook, Clubsoft Access. Have good written and verbal skills for effective communication PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.
